So many times in the history of a mankind art didn’t happen to stop atrocities and other terrible things like wars etc. However also art didn’t trigger any of those.
What art always did though is gave hope to those who wanted world to survive and clean up of all destructive and evil things.
Even though art didn’t seem to save the world it has never been dangerous and threatening to the global peace.
Finally let’s s admit that art is a good and positive phenomenon overall.
Art brings joy, deep thoughts, feeling of beauty, curiosity and admiration, meaning, feeling of empathy and connectedness with others. It calls for imagination in people. It is able to switch people from negativity and aggression to calmness and love. Art sublimes and elevates. Art is unexplainable therefore it is magic. Almost nothing else is in this world.
Make art not war.
